Ronnie Eketone

Ronnie (Ngāti Maniapoto, Hauraki) joined Parenting Place in 2023 after 16 years in the tertiary education sector, with a strong focus on supporting whānau across Aotearoa. He began in the Programmes team, where he built whanaungatanga with partners and stakeholders while supporting trainings, before stepping into the role of Programmes Director in August 2024.
A dedicated husband and father of four, Ronnie is committed to creating a home grounded in aroha and manaakitanga. Outside of work, he is a musician and an active member of his church community, where he values the deep relationships formed through faith and shared purpose.
