Dayna Galloway
Presenter & Podcast Producer
After 15 years of working in radio and television, seven of those fronting an after-school show thus having the privilege of being an ‘older sister’ to kids across New Zealand, Dayna is now excited to work as a presenter for Parenting Place, sharing encouragement and tools with parents.
Dayna is especially passionate about supporting those who may not have had the best upbringing themselves, as with the right resources, she believes all parents have an opportunity to give the next generation less to work through and more to work with.
Dayna is from Samoan and English lineage, is married to Callum with two young kids, Luca and Darci, who ‘steal the show’ in some of Dayna’s presenting work. In lieu of previous hobbies, Dayna now spends her spare time searching for bugs, sculpting playdough and dining at her kids’ overpriced home café.
